Of Portuguese descent and a native of South Africa, Ligia's heritage is all about creating beautiful, delicious sweets. Ligia started her baking career in the U.S. in the Portuguese bakeries in Elizabeth, NJ.

After training with master Portugues artisan bakers, and further
building on her own heritage, Ligia began teaching others the fine art of custom cake design and construction.

Lately, Ligia has focused on her own business of custom cake and sweet making. Her one-of-a-kind creations are the hit of any celebration they are a part of.

I love my bingo cake! I was celebrating
my 80th birthday, and left it to Ligia to
